Plus Dane has over 15,000 homes in ownership and management across Merseyside and Cheshire. They are one of Britain’s Top 100 companies to work for employing over 400 people, have an asset value in excess of £500m, a combined development fund in excess of £210m and a turnover of over £50m.
Plus Dane Housing had reached a point where it needed to enhance their ageing Citrix infrastructure by upgrading to XenApp on a virtualised VMWare platform.
VTEQ were recommended to Plus Dane as a specialist Virtualisation Partner with plenty of experience in the Housing Association arena to implement and Support this Project.
Printing was definitely an issue with stability of the Printing subsystem, and VTEQ a Gold Tricerat Partner specialising in Print Solutions for Citrix environments recommended that the current Printing solution be replaced by the Simplify Printing solution that ‘virtualises’ print drivers removing the common issue of finding the right print driver for Citrix.
That was three years ago and VTEQ continues to work with Plus Dane to enhance their Desktop and Application Virtualisation solution to support their user’s.

The No.1 agency outside London (Campaign 2010), Public is an integrated, communications agency with 55 staff and annual billings of £54 million.
Public had reached a point where it needed to enhance their ageing infrastructure and saw an opportunity to improve their server infrastructure at the same time giving it a more secure and resilient home.
VTEQ an experienced Cloud PAAS provider was chosen to consolidate the servers and data onto a Citrix XenServer platform and deliver applications from the Data Centre using virtualisation technology.
Moving the servers and data to the Data Centre has reduced server room costs, and increased reliability through the provision of resilient power, WAN and 24×7 Support in a purpose built environment.
